Testimonials

Emma was an amazing asset to The My Life Programme for many years as a peer supporter and as a session facilitator. She was well respected and well thought of by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her, and her story touched a lot of hearts and also inspired people to do better.

Since the My Life Programme came to an unfortunate end in April 2019, Emma has volunteered her time to the constituted group that was set up by the other My Life volunteers, Wellbeing Plus.

Wellbeing Plus is loosely based around the My Life Programme, only less formal and with very little funding. The aims of the group are to help people who have long term health conditions, to help them grow in confidence, to show them a multitude of crafts and activities that they can do to fill in their time and help them relax and to also show them the various other services that are available to them in the Middlesbrough area.

Emma has already proved her worth to the other members tenfold and she is always thinking up new ideas to help our members and to raise money for the group. She is well respected by everyone and she continues to grow with the rest of us as we find our feet as a new group setting up in the area.
